The St. Paul Sunday school youth, the confirmation youth and the adult choir will be
combining talents to present a special Christmas program, “Star of Wonder” on Sunday,
December 18 during the morning worship service. Hear what several “special” stars and the
three wise men have to say about the birth of Jesus. Plan on attending to see what has
been prepared for us this year.
On Sunday, October 16, St. Paul will host the Rivers of Grace Conference of the Western Iowa Synod. Numerous pastors from the churches of this area will come together to attend this meeting. We would like to welcome them to St. Paul.
On Saturday, October 22, St. Paul will be having a hayrack ride/costume party to be held at Scott and Cheryl Van Hauen’s starting at 6:00 pm. The address is 2107 297th Place, Missouri Valley. There will also be a costume contest and a snipe hunt for anyone wishing to partake. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. There will be a sign-up sheet on the Fellowship Table for volunteers to bring items for the meal and bonfire. There will also be a sign-up sheet for those who plan on attending so we will have an idea of how much food we will need. You are asked to bring your own chairs and water if you don’t want hot chocolate or apple cider. Join us for a scary night of fun, food and laughs.
